Sky went potty tonight for the first time in her potty chair. She and I were both so excited and celebrated her big step. What an incredible child I have....I love her so much. I am enjoying each and every step she takes and so grateful to be here to see them all. Motherhood is amazing.

banged up but I will ride again

After my first ambulance ride and 25 stitches I am home resting with Sky, Jared and the my dogs. I had my first bad crash on the bike today. My clip in pedals went deep into my left calf all the way to the bone. I said on your left and he went left crashing into him and traping my leg between my bike and him, with the pedals still spinning like a drill it pierced my leg. I will be ok if we can keep it infection free. I may have some perminant numbness in the back of my left calf but otherwise be fine. HCMC was great and the ambulance drivers were also. Thanks to all the bikers who stopped to help and keep my calm until the parimedics got there. Thank goodness I was not in the tour traveling fast down a mountain.
